Mother's Day Weekend marked the very first USCCA Concealed Carry Expo, and WOW what a weekend it was! After designing all of the banners, I also volunteered over 30 hours to work the booth and other parts of the event. I even got to help photograph the Concealed Carry Fashion Show! I felt so lucky to be a part of something so big and so groundbreaking. I can't wait for next year! Below are a few of my favorite shots.
You know you're old when your baby cousin is expecting a baby.
Can't believe my little Bretty Poo is all grown up. Now he and his beautiful girl friend, Karyn, are expecting their own little baby boy. So happy to have been able to capture these shots before they welcome their new addition into the world. Here are a few of my favorites! Slam Poetry is a beautiful talent I would love to have. This is one I can't stop watching. "You feel like a love letter from a million years ago; opening you after all this time has tumbled me awake. I'm holding on to the cartwheels in your laughter so they can turn me upside down and shake the dust from the dress I wore on the tire swing my father hung from the willow tree that's still weeping years later for the dreams that I left on the upswing. I just didn't want to be disappointed when it came back down and the ground hit me harder than a home run. Now, I run home to you." - Dia Davina |
